TROUBLESHOOTING
Any of the following lights failure: Lamp, light-beam indicator, backlight,
auxiliary light or light meter.
NOTE:
• Before troubleshooting, remove the following parts:
1. Seat
2. Cap 1 and cap 2
3. Streetlight
4. Fuel tank
1. Check each bulb and the condition
each bulb socket. See
in "VERIFICATION
Bulbs and sockets
THE BULBS "on page 7-33.

2. Check the fuse.
Refer to the "VERIFICATION
FUSE "on page 7-34.
Ok ↓
3. Check the battery.
Refer to the "VERIFICATION
AND CHARGING THE BATTERY "on page
7-34.
Ok ↓
4. Check main switch.
Refer to the "VERIFICATION
SWITCH "on
page 7-30.
Ok ↓
5. Check the light switch.
Refer to the "VERIFICATION
SWITCH "on
page 7-30.
Ok ↓
6. Check the switch step.
Refer to the "VERIFICATION
SWITCH "on
page 7-30.
Ok ↓
7. Check the wiring system
lights. See the section
"CIRCUIT DIAGRAM" on
page 7-14.
Ok ↓
The system circuit is OK
NG →
Replace the bulb (s) and socket
bulb (s).
NG →
Replace the fuse.
NG →
Clean the battery terminals
Recharge or replace battery.
NG →
Replace the main switch.
The light switch is broken.
NG →
Replace the left switch

Connect or repair wiring system
