2.4 Manual adjustment of exposure

Note: Only when the user is not satisfied with the results of the exposure adjustments in Sec. 2.2 and
2.3, perform the manual adjustments of exposure (a) – (m) as described below.

Adjustment Procedure
(1) Make sure that "AJ" is shown on the display.
(2) Set exposure mode C.
(3) Set reproduction ratio D using the REDUCE

(4) To check the current image density, make test copies in the manual, automatic and photo modes and
check them for proper image density.
(5) Key in adjustment code E and press the PRINT
Then, using the procedure of (7) – (11) in Sec. 2.1, make adjustments.
(6) Finally, press keys
