Grounding the Chassis

Units must have a permanent ground connection in addition to the power ground wire. A grounding

lug must be installed to ensure proper electrical protection.
Follow this procedure to attach the grounding lug to your router chassis:

Turn OFF power to the router. Remove all network interface cables, including telephone cables, from
the rear panel.
