How to adjsut
4.1 ObseNe the sinker plate sideward and
see
if it Is etooked.
4.2 After connrming it by
visual
obseNation, put L Carriage
into
the
needle bed
and
poll
out
latch needles
to the
posl·
lion 0,
then
inspect a gap between the sinker plato and
the stem of latch needles. When latch needles are found
raised
by t he
linker plate (or there
is a
wide pp), judae
!hit the sinker plate is crooked and adjust lhe "crooked"
section.

Remove rfsht and left clamping screws for lhe
L
Carriage
cover and take off lhe cover.
5.2 Remove three clamping screws for main cam.
5.3 From
the
back side of the L
Curiage
rear foot, measure by
use of a slidln& ~ipers to place main cam·io such a way

shown in Figure 47 and fa.sten with thtee clamping OICI'ews.
