Link optional accessories to wireless network
While the Add Device screen is displayed
on the thermostat, press and release the
CONNECT button on each wireless device, as
described below. Accessories need to be at
least 2 feet away from the thermostat or ElM
during the linking process.
Press DONEafter all devices havebeen linked
Wireless outdoor sensor
Press and release CONNECT. A fter
a short delay the thermostatwill
displayoutdoor temperatureand
humidity.
Portable Comfort Control
Wireless indoor sensor
Press and release CONNECT.
Aftera short delay,the status light
will glow green for 15 seconds.
If the status light turns red,
the sensor did not link with the
thermostat.
In normal operation,this light
remains off. If it beginsflashing
red, batteries are low (powerwill
be depletedafter 3 weeks).

Press CONNECTon the PortableComfort Control displayscreen.Press DONEwhen the
screendisplays "Connected,"then exit or continueto link another thermostat.
Error messages:
E1 29 Incompatibledevice cannot be connected.
E1 34 Low RF signal. Movedevice to a different locationand try again.
E1 38 Makesure the thermostat or the ElM is inWireless Setup mode,
and the Portable Comfort Control is at least 2 feet away (600 ram).
The linking procedurewill time out if there is no keypressfor 30 minutes.To beginagain,
press and hold the blank space in the lower right corner of the screen (anarrow may
appear here).Hold until the displaychanges (about3 seconds).
RedLiNK |nternet Gateway
Press and releasethe buttonon the bottom of the Internet
Gateway. A fter a short delay,the RedLINK status light will glow
steadygreen.

The InternetGatewaymust be registeredonline before
use at www.mytotalconnectcomfort.com. Enter the MAC
ID and MACCRC numbers locatedon the bottom of
the InternetGateway.For additionalinformation,see
instructionsprovidedwith the device.
