Assigning Names
to Discs

You can input your original disc memo titles
instead of the current disc numbers,
"*DISC-1, 2 etc.%k" assigning up to 13
characters. You can locate a disc easily by
checking the disc memos appearing in the
display as you rotate the JOG dial.
Assigning Disc Memos to
Your Discs
1 Press CONTINUE and UNLOAD to
turn on their indicators.
2 Rotate the JOG dial to select the disc
to which you want to assign a disc
memo.
3 Press MEMO INPUT.
Each time you press MEMO INPUT, the
display changes. You can choose upper
or lower case letters, or numbers.
4 Rotate the JOG dial to select a letter,
number or symbol.
The selected letter flashes.
Available letters and symbols
When you press MEMO INPUT, a space
appears. When rotating the JOG diat
clockwise, letters and symbols appear in the
following order. Rotate the JOG dial
counterclockwise to go back to the previous
character.

5 Press ENTER.
The selected letter lights up and the
cursor shifts automatically.
To shift the cursor manually, press I¢<
or PPI. If you have entered a wrong
letter, press I4 to move the cursor
back, then enter the correct one. To
insert a blank space, press CLEAR.
6 Repeat steps 4, 5 to enter more
letters.
To choose upper or lower case letters,
or numbers, return to step 3.
