Procedure
1.
Connect
the
DVM to A8R4 as shown
in Figure 5-33.
2.
Adjust
A8C4 (100 MHz
Peak) for minimum indication on the DVM.
(This
is maximum current
through A8R4 and A8Q2.)
3.
Turn the
DUT to standby and remove the DVM connections from A8R4.
4.
Remove the Jumper A8E3. Connect
a
jumper
from the —10 volt terminal
to
the lower connection
point for
E3 as shown
in
Figure 5-33. (This applies
-10
volts to the oscillator.)
5.
Connect the
Oscilloscope
10:1
high-impedance probe to the upper connection point for
E3 as
shown in
Figure
5-33.
Switch the
DUT
on.
6. Adjust A8R8 (BAL)
for
a
50% duty cycle square wave
with
approximately 35 Volts peak-to-peak.
7.
Turn the DUT to standby, remove the —10 Volt jumper, oscilloscope probe connections, and
reinstall
A8E3
in its original position.
