1.1 Validity of the documentation

This documentation applies to the following products:
• 3 842 998 324, PE 2/X positioning unit
• 3 842 999 000, PE 2/H positioning unit
• 3 842 998 067, PE 4 positioning unit
This documentation is intended for fi tters, operators, service engineers and system
end users.
This documentation contains important information relating to the safe and proper
assembly, transportation, start-up, operation, use, maintenance and disassembly of
the product, and on how to rectify simple faults yourself.

Read this documentation in full prior to working with the product, particularly
section 2 "Safety instructions" and section 3 "General information on property
and product damage".
