6 Transport and storage
• Follow the transport instructions on the packaging.
• Transport weight: see delivery documents.
• Secure the product to prevent toppling!
• Always maintain ambient conditions during loading and transport, see page 37.

6.1 Transporting the product

Falling and toppling loads!

Only qualifi ed personnel should transport the product.

Never stand or walk under suspended loads.

Make sure no one is in the danger zone.

Only use suitable and inspected lifting gear, slings and forklifts.

Observe bearing load; for product weight, see shipping documents.

Check that the slings are securely fastened.

Secure the load against toppling before you lift it.

6.2 Storing the product

• Only set the product down on a fl at surface.
• Protect the product from mechanical stress.
• Protect the product from environmental infl uences, such as dirt and moisture.
• Pay attention to the ambient conditions, see page 37.
• Support the product so that suspended motors/actuators/cylinders will not be
strained.
