Environmental factors

Avoid contact with highly acidic or alkaline substances.
The product is resistant to various media.
These include:
– Water
– Mineral oil
– Greases
– Detergents
In case of doubt about resistance to certain chemicals, we recommend
contacting your Rexroth representative.
These include:
– Test oil
– Alloyed oils
– Corrosive cleaning agents
– Solvents
– Brake fl uid
Abrasive media and objects will greatly increase wear.
These include:
– Sand
– Silicates
– Pumice dust
– Glass fragments
– Metal shavings
– Loose items
Resistance to media does not mean
functional reliability is guaranteed under all circumstances:
– Liquids that thicken as they evaporate and become highly viscous or sticky
can lead to malfunctions.
– Lubricating media can lead to a loss of power transmitted
by friction.
Such cases require special attention when planning
the system and require adjusting the maintenance intervals.
