●Please Observe The Following
Observe the following precautions for securing operator safety and maintaining proper module
operations when operating it.
1. Carefully read and understand this User's Manual before operating the module.
2. Do not install or store the module under the following environment:
(1) Dusty locations
(2) Locations where corrosive gases (such as SO2 and H2S) are generated
(3) Locations subject to vibration or impact
(4) Low- or high-temperature environment that is beyond the installation conditions specified in
this User's Manual
(5) Humid locations
3. If the module's ambient temperature or internal temperature rises abnormally or if the module
breaks down, stop using it and turn OFF its power. Then contact your nearest service
representative or our service office.
4. Do not open the module's cover.
5. Do not modify the module.
6. Exercise care not to drop the product during transportation or the like.
7. FL654A complies with FL-net protocol Version 3.01 Class 1.Protocol version 3.01 Class 1 can be
mixed with protocol version 2.00, but FL-net protocol version 1.00 compliant equipment and
protocol version 2.00 / 3.01 class 1 compliant equipment cannot be operated on the same
network.
When building the system, please use it unified to protocol version 2.00 / 3.01 Class 1 compliant
equipment. Even when connecting with other company's FL-net compliant module, please use
the same protocol version.
CAUTION
8. The FL654A supports 10BASE-T (10Mbps) and 100BASE-TX (100Mbps).
When building the system, please make sure that the network speed of the equipment is unified
so that 10Mbps equipment and 100Mbps equipment are not mixed on the system.
9. Although FL-net applies Ethernet, real-time transmission is realized by avoiding collisions by
CSMA / CD method specific to Ethernet by controlling token (transmission right) dedicated to
FL-net over UDP / IP doing. Therefore, it cannot be mixed on the same network as general
Ethernet equipment.
When they are mixed, signal collision occurs on the transmission path, and real-time
transmission of FL-net cannot be guaranteed. Be sure to make the FL-net device a dedicated
network.
Do not operate devices conforming to FL-net protocol
version 1.00 and protocol version 2.00 / 3.01 Class 1
compliant devices on the same network
If you join a protocol version 1.00 network, it goes down.
