Specify whether user can read or write to the MIB (Management Information Base).
SLP
Enable SLP
Select if you want to discover automatically the network services available on your imagePRESS Server
networked environment using SLP via the 427 UDP port.
You must open the port 427 (SLP) (see
Scope
Specify a range for multicast discovery. From the printer control panel, you can enter a maximum of 32 ASCII
characters for Scope.
Note: You cannot use the following characters for Scope:
( ) , \ ! < = > ~ ; * +
Proxy
If the imagePRESS Server is behind a firewall which is not allowing direct Internet access, the site administrator can
configure a proxy server to provide the imagePRESS Server with Internet access.
HTTP
If the imagePRESS Server is behind a firewall, a proxy server is required to provide internet access for the
imagePRESS Server and to connect to EFI for System Updates.
To configure the proxy server through Configure, log in as Administrator, select Network > Proxy, select Enable
HTTP Proxy, fill in the proxy server information, and click Save.
Enable Proxy
Select this option to enable a proxy server for security purposes. Enter the appropriate information in the
following sub-options.

Type the IP address of the proxy server on your network.
