2.4.1 Connecting the Probe (cont.)
A dual element probe has the loudspeaker separated from the microphone. Identify these probes simply by the number of LEMO (or other
type of) connectors: one for a single, two for a dual.
To install a single-element probe, connect the probe cable to either of the two ports on the side of the instrument (see Figure 19 on the
previous page). When a dual-element probe is connected to the instrument, the key ensures proper orientation of the transmit and receive
connectors.
