5 Diagnosing and Rectifying Faults
Meaning
The
communication
between the fan
module and the
iBMC is abnormal.
The fan module
hardware or
backplane is
faulty.

has an alarm, or
the fan module
hardware or
backplane is
damaged.
The fan module is
not powered on.
The fan module is
operating
properly.
The fan module is
faulty.
Diagnosis
Log in to the
iBMC WebUI and
check whether the
iBMC is running
properly.
● If the iBMC
software is
abnormal,
upgrade the
iBMC software
or replace the
high-
performance
fusion console
(HFC). For
details, see

normal, reseat
the fan
module. If the
alarm persists,
