Settable zero offsets
The labeling of the softkeys for the settable zero offsets varies, i.e. the settable zero offsets
configured on the machine are displayed (examples: G54...G57, G54...G505, G54...G599).
Please refer to the machine manufacturer's specifications.

Press the "Workpiece zero" and "Set edge" softkeys.
The "Set Edge" window opens.

Select "Measuring only" if you only want to display the measured
values.

In the selection box, select the desired zero offset in which you want to
store the zero point.
- OR -
Press the "Select ZO" softkey to select an settable zero offset.
In the window "Zero Offset – G54 ... G599", select a zero offset, in which
the zero point should be saved and press the "In manual" softkey.
You return to the measurement window.

Use the softkeys to select in which axis direction you want to approach
the workpiece first.

Select the measuring direction (+ or -) you want to approach the
workpiece in.
For Z0, the workpiece is always approached in the Z minus direction.
7.
In X0, Y0, or Z0, specify the setpoint position of the workpiece edge.
The setpoint position corresponds, e.g. to the dimension specifications
of the workpiece edge from the workpiece drawing.
8.
Traverse the workpiece probe close to the workpiece edge that you wish
to measure and press the <CYCLE START> key in order to measure
the workpiece zero automatically.
