The monitored sub-systems are grouped as follows:

• Power Status

• Lamp Status

• Fan Status
• Temperature Status
An additional indicator on the far right is provided to
notify the operator when a system Message is present.
Each individual Status pane presents views of the status of
the subsystems of the Digital Cinema auditorium unit.
Indicators on the system status panes have three possible
states. They are
(GREEN) - Operation Normal
(Yellow) - Warning
(RED) - Error
(GRAY) - State Unknown
Power Status
To view Power Status information, from any
Projectionist Terminal screen, tap the Power
Status icon. The POWER STATUS pane
appears (illustrated below) and displays
status indicators for each of the following PROJECTOR
sub-systems.
• Projector Interface Boards (DVI, HIF, MB)

devices (Red, Green, Blue)
• The Peltier
• Sub-system Power (DVI, Ballast, RT Clock)
• Board, Lens and Electrical
SRX-R220 projector uses Peltier Devices for temperature
control of the imaging devices. This allows control of the
imaging device temperature more precisely and results in
image consistency. Power to the Peltier Devices is
monitored and the status is shown on this screen
1.A Peltier device, is a solid-state active heat pump
which transfers heat from one side of the device to the
other side against the temperature gradient (e.g., from
cold to hot), with consumption of electrical energy.
The SRX-R220 uses the Peltier devices to maintain
the optimum operating temperature of the imaging
devices by either cooling or heating as appropriate.

Status
Lamp Status
LAMP STATUS provides information about the Xenon
Arc lamp, the number of hours used, when it was last
replaced, and status of monitored conditions in the Lamp
sub-system.
To view the Lamp Status pane, from any
Projectionist Terminal screen, tap the Lamp
Status icon. The LAMP STATUS pane
appears (illustrated below) and displays an
information area and status/alarm indicators for the Lamp
sub-system.
Lamp Information
Information related to the Projector and Projector Lamp.
• Lamp Hours
The number of hours the lamp has operated since
replacement. Hours are accumulated based on
whenever the projector is not in STANDBY and the
Projection Lamp is not OFF. (See"Set Projector to
ON/STANDBY" on page 32.)
• Operation Hours
The total number of operating hours on the Projector.
This includes; STANDBY, ON, and ON/LAMP OFF.
• Replaced
The Date (DD-MMM-YYYY format) on which the
lamp was replaced.
