To access Maintenance, tap Menu and then tap
Maintenance. The Maintenance screen appears
Settings available on the Maintenance screen are;

• REFRESH Projector Data

Refreshes the SMS Server with all the Projector data.
This function is used primarily to allow use of the SRX
Controller application connected directly to the
projector to accomplish maintenance operations,
e.g., bulb replacement. Once the SRX Controller
application has been disconnected then you can refresh
the SMS Server with any changes made using the SRX
Controller application.
Note: REFRESH SMS is a maintenance function.
Refreshing the SMS Server data takes some time and
may result in unexpected projector operation should
the REFRESH be executed during Show presentation.

• LAMP INFORMATION

Displays the Lamp Serial Number and Lamp Power.
You can also set a new Lamp Serial Code following
lamp replacement.
• ADJUST/TEST
CALIBRATE LUMINANCE allows you to calibrate
the automatic luminance management function. Test
Pattern selects one of a group of predefined test
patterns.
REFRESH SMS
CAUTION: After lamp power is off, do not open the lamp
house for at least 60 minutes.When replacing/handling the
lamp observe manufacturer's recommendations and
procedures. Xenon arc lamps may burst when not in
operation causing serious injuries! It is critical to follow
safety instructions when handling Xenon arc lamps.
Refresh Projector Data
In the REFRESH SMS group you can manually force the
SMS Server to refresh its stored Projector Data. Normally
the SMS Server is the only device controlling the Projector
and tracks any changes made by the SMS Server to the
Projector. However, if changes are made to Projector
settings using the SRX Controller application these

changes are not under the control of the SMS Server and
are invisible to it. While normal operation does not make
use of the SRX Controller application maintenance
operations may. Once any changes are made to the
Projector using the SRX Controller application you should
insure that you are seeing the most current information on
the Projectionist Terminal by manually refreshing the
SMS Server data and then leaving and returning to the
Maintenance screen.
REFRESH SMS
To refresh the Projector Data, tap Menu, tap
Maintenance, and then tap REFRESH Projector Data in
the REFRESH SMS group.
Lamp Information
Every lamp is identified by a unique 16 alpha/numeric
character serial code that includes the manufacturer id,
lamp power (min./max. range), and the individual lamp
serial number.
Lamp Serial Code
Lamp Serial # and Drive Power
The Serial Number of the currently installed Lamp and the
Drive Elec. Power (max) is shown in LAMP
INFORMATION. While a new Lamp Serial Code can be
entered, this is normally done during the Lamp
replacement process using the SRX Controller application.
Lamp usage must be monitored to insure the quality of the
projected image. Generally, spectral content of a Xenon
lamp is continuous and flat over its useful life however, the
brightness will change and use of a Lamp beyond it's
