To switch the fan on s

^ Press the On/Off touch control s.
The fan will come on at power level 2.
The s symbol and the 2 will light up.

To select a power level - / +

^ To select a lower power level, press
the "–" symbol, or to select a higher
power level, press the "+" symbol.
Depending on the intensity of the
cooking vapours,
levels 1 to 3 are usually sufficient for
normal cooking.

Intensive setting

For short periods of cooking food with
intensive vapours and a strong aroma,
e.g. when searing meat, you may wish
to select level IS, the Intensive setting.
Automatic switch-off of the Intensive
setting
You can set the Intensive setting so that
it always only runs for 10 minutes
before reverting automatically to level 3.
^ To set this option, both the fan and
the cooktop lighting must be
switched off.
^ Press the run-on control 5 ¢15 for
approx. 10 seconds, until the 1 lights
up.
^ Then press in turn,
– the cooktop lighting sensor I,
– then the – touch control, and
– the cooktop lighting sensor I again.
If Automatic switch-off is not activated,
the 1 and IS sensors will flash.
^ Press the + touch control to activate
the Automatic switch-off.
The indicator lamps for fan power
levels 1 and IS will now light up
constantly.
Press the – control to deactivate the
Automatic switch-off function.
^ Confirm the selection by pressing the
run-on control 5 ¢15.
If you do not confirm your selection
within 4 minutes, the rangehood will
automatically revert to the original
setting.
