[Connect] tab

Shows settings related to the connection of the computer to the
device.
● When the [Automatically connect this device when it is available]
check box under [Auto Connect] is selected, a virtual USB
connection is established automatically when the computer
connects to the device via Wi-Fi.
● The [If an error occurs while connected, automatically reconnect]
check box under [Auto Connect] is normally kept selected.
● Applications can be specified to start automatically upon
connection. In this case, select the [Start designated application
when connected] check box. Specify an application file to execute,
and click the [Open] button on the screen displayed by clicking the
[Browse] button. When [Disconnect automatically when application
is closed] is selected, the device is disconnected when the specified
application exits.

Actions can be specified to occur when a disconnect request is
received.
When the [Allow auto-disconnect when a Request Use is received]
check box is selected, the virtual USB connection is terminated when
a disconnect request is received from another computer while
connected to the device. When selected, time until disconnection after
a request is received can be specified from 10 to 180 seconds.
