9-76 Upgrading Your Server
Installation Procedure
Take the following steps to install the optical disk drive.
2.5-inch disk model
1.
See page 9-4 to prepare.
2.
Pull out the server from the rack (as described on page 9-4).
3.
Remove the top cover (as described on page 9-24).
4.
Remove the cable while holding both ends of cable fixing bracket of the optical disk
drive.
5.
Loosen the thumb screw, and pull out the optical disk drive bracket to the direction of the
arrow mark shown in the figure below.
