Installation
Take the following steps to install the CPU.
1.
See page 9-4 to prepare.
2.
Pull out the server from the rack (as described on page 9-4).
3.
Remove the top cover (as described on page 9-24).
4.
Remove the fan duct from the chassis.
IMPORTANT:
5.
Locate the CPU socket which you are going to install CPU.
6.
Remove the four screws, and remove the CPU dummy cover.
IMPORTANT:
Make sure not to damage the internal cables.
Keep the removed cover for future use.
