Subtitles
Subtitles
Some channels offer subtitles for individual programmes: Text lines are displayed at the
bottom of the screen, which continuously play back current dialogue for example or
comment on the pictures displayed. Programmes for which a number of video channels
are available are displayed, for example, in the info bar with the

You can define with the Subtitle option whether or not available subtitles are to be dis-
played in general.

Switch on or off the automatic display of subtitles.
You can use the yellow colour button at any time during a programme to
switch off the subtitles or to switch if required to a different subtitle lan-
guage (see "Showing Subtitles" on page 35).
Subtitle language
Some channels transmit their subtitles in a number of languages. The Subtitle Lan-
guage option allows you to define which language will be displayed in the case of multi-
language offers.

Choose the subtitle language for the current programme.
Video Channel
Some channels transmit their programme using a number of video channels, for exam-
ple you can toggle between various camera perspectives for sports transmissions. Pro-

grammes for which a number of video channels are available are displayed in the info
bar with the
icon (see "Icons in the Menu" on page 30).
You can use the Video Channel option to define which video channel your set-top box
is to play back.
