Bookmark Start: Predefined bookmark (left end of timeline), which identifies the
start time of the played back recording (time 00:00:00).

Playback bar: Symbolises the progress of the playback within the timeline. The
end of the playback bar always indicates the position that you see or hear pres-
ently. While a playback is active, the end of the playback bar moves slowly to the
right.

Timeline: Border of playback bar that symbolises the total duration of the record-
ing. The timeline is limited by the Start and End bookmarks.

Green bookmark: Individual bookmark on the timeline, which is currently
selected.

Orange bookmark: Individual bookmarks on the timeline that are not selected
currently.

Red bookmark: Identifies an action on the timeline (jump or loop). An action is
always performed between two successive bookmarks.

Bookmark End: Predefined bookmark (right end of border), which identifies the
end of the played back recording. This bookmark is only displayed in the Trick-
mode bar if the recording has ended.

Time: Shows the current time according to the time setting on your set-top box.

Set Mark (red colour button): Sets a new bookmark on the timeline.

Show Mark List (green colour button): Opens the Mark List menu in which
bookmarks and actions are edited.

Playback duration: Shows the time interval between the Start bookmark and the
end of the playback bar.

Recording period: Shows the time interval between the Start and End book-
marks and between the Start bookmark and the current end of the recording (for
a current recording).
