Tap
and tap Delete Category to display the list of categories that
you can delete.
Only categories that you have defined yourself may be deleted, the

default categories of All Contacts, SIM Card, Unfiled, and Owner may
not and will not be shown.

Select the category that you wish to delete and tap OK.

Tap OK to confirm deletion of the selected category. All contacts will
remain in the address book and be moved to the Unfiled category.

Tap Cancel to return to the previous menu and the selected category
will NOT be deleted.
