Car Battery
Using a car battery as the power source with the Canon Car Battery Cord C-202.
Important: Use the car battery cord only with 12 V batteries with negative grounds.

Battery Pack
The rechargeable Battery Pack BP-31 or BP-32 is recommended for recording which requires a
great deal of mobility. The battery pack loads directly into the recorder for powering the system. For
details on recharging the battery pack, see the power source instruction manual.
When the battery charge is nearly exhausted, the word "BATTERY" will blink in warning in the view¬
finder. In this case, check the recorder's battery level indicator. If it indicates the battery is exhaust¬
ed, recharge the battery pack or replace it with a fresh one.
