The AKD-8 AKR30S switchgear compartments need this particular attention.
The glastic sheet has to be removed (Figure 30).
In some cases, however, it is possible that this sheet is not secured to the top of the cabinet
properly, and was found to sag around the middle of the cabinet. This could lead to the sheet
interfering with secondary disconnects. Resecure it to the top of campartment or replace it
with any UL recognized reinforced polyester glass sheet.
