How to fix the loop antenna (Fig. 1)

Install the antenna by insering it in the direc-
tion of the arrow. (see Fig. 6)

Place at a distance
from the power-source
cord, signal cord and metal fixtures on the main
body, in a spot where reception is good.
AM (MW/LW) loop antenna (Fig. 2)
This antenna
is for the reception
of local AM
broadcast.
AM (MW/LW) external antenna (Fig. 2)
If AM reception is unsatisfactory, connect an ex-
ternal AM antenna (single-wire antenna) to the AM
antenna terminal.
Noise and interference (Fig. 3)
Change the direction of the loop antenna or rein-
Stall it in a better position when reception is noisy.
Notes:

If the provided loop antenna is not con-
nected, it will be impossible to receive AM
broadcasts.
¢
When installing an external AM antenna,
leave the AM loop antenna connected.

Antenna terminals differ according to the
markets.
After checking up your set, select the con-
nection method out of @, Bor ©.

How to connect the coaxial
@® Strip off the sheath to expose the braid about
20 mm (13/16").
@ Open the braid to expose the conductor about
10 mm (7/16").
@ Plug the conductor into the FM ANTENNA
terminai

Taper off the braid and plug it into the GNO
terminal.
FM feeder antennas
Plug into the FM antenna terminal.

nected to a 75-ohm coaxial jack as a temporary
measure.
