Overview of the Warm-Up Mode

When starting the machine in cold weather, a message and a snowflake icon
the InfoCenter screen. Do not operate the machine above low idle until after the warm-up
period.

Starting the Engine

You must bleed the fuel system before starting the engine if you are starting the
engine for the first time, the engine has stopped due to lack of fuel, or you have
performed maintenance on the fuel system.
1. Sit on the seat, keep your foot off the traction pedal so that it is in N
parking brake, set the throttle to the F
engaged.
2. Turn the key to the O
An automatic timer controls the glow plug preheat for 6 seconds.
3. After preheating the glow plugs, turn the key to the S

4. Run the engine at low idle speed until it warms up.

Shutting Off the Engine

1. Move all controls to N
position and allow the engine to reach low idle speed.
Allow the engine to idle for 5 minutes before shutting it off after a full load operation.
Failure to do so may damage engine components.

Adjusting the Turf-Compensation Spring

The turf-compensation spring transfers the weight from the front roller to the rear roller. This
helps to reduce a wave pattern in the turf, also known as marcelling or bobbing.
