Safety Information

1. This manual is NOT intended as a comprehensive repair guide to the appliance.
2. It is intended for use by suitably qualified persons with relevant technical competence,
the applicable product knowledge and suitable tools and test equipment
3. Servicing and repair of electrical appliances must be undertaken with the appliance
disconnected from the electrical supply
4. Before servicing the appliance must be checked for earth continuity and Insulation
resistance to establish if any pre-existing fault condition exists.
5. Persons carrying out repairs should use personal protective equipment (PPE) as
necessary to guard against sharp edges on metal and plastic parts.

When dismantling take care when removing covers not to damage any wiring which
may be connected to them.
7. Do not use excessive force when disconnecting/reconnecting wiring connectors. Also
ensure that wiring connectors and cables are replaced back in their original position
and any cut cable ties are replaced.
8. Some appliances utilise tamper-proof fixings, the correct tools must be used to release
these fixings and they must always be replaced.

After servicing is completed the appliance must be rechecked for Electrical Safety and
functionally tested.
