5. When removing the top cover, you need to
undo the connection to the interlocks
contained within the top cover.
6. The correct alignment of the interlocks for
the slow speed and medium/high speed covers.
Between the rear of the gearbox and the
body casting is a metal spacer (arrowed). Be
careful not to lose this when you remove the
gearbox as it is not fixed in position.

8. IMPORTANT - The
gearbox must
earthed to the body,
where circled.
9. The gearbox is
secured by three
hexagonal bolts.
