For ensuring reliable routine operations through prevention of a
trouble, periodic checkup must be carried out, referring to Table
5-1. This table lists the items of periodic maintenance/checkup.
The interval of periodic checkup is based on the assumption that
the instrument operates 8 hours/day and 20 days/month.
Carry out periodic checkup by following the items listed below.

Before analysis, check the drain
tray for contamination. If dust or
contaminant is stuck to the tray,
cleaning is required.

reached the end of its service
life by checking for poor
energy and for arrival at the
maximum allowable total ON-
time
(2) Judge whether the lamp has
reached the end of its service
life by checking for significant
baseline fluctuations
(excessive drift or noise).
Every month
(1) Drip water on leak sensor and
confirm that "LAMP OFF BY
LEAKAGE" error occurs.
(2) After confirmation, wipe off
water.
Every year
Check each wavelength using the
bright lines of Hg and D
