5.2 Confirmation of Performance Specifications
The performance of diode array detector should be checked with
PC (maintenance software of CDS) or GUI (option).
For details of performance check method, refer to the respective
instruction manuals of maintenance software of CDS, or GUI
(option).
(1)
Measurement of Wavelength Accuracy
Measure wavelength accuracy, referring to "wavelength
check" of the Maintenance edition of the instruction manual
for CDS.
For this check, it is required to use 486 and 656 nm bright
lines of D
lamp and 254, 365, 436 nm bright lines of Hg
2
lamp.
When using the GUI (option) for wavelength accuracy
check, target the 486 and 656 nm bright lines of D
and 254 nm bright line of Hg lamp.
 Specification
Wavelength accuracy of each bright line shall be within
1 nm.
(2)
Measurement of Lamp Energy
Measure lamp energy, referring to "lamp energy acquisition"
of the maintenance edition of the instruction manual for
CDS.
Energy level of D
required for both cases where the slit is in the Fine and
Coarse statuses.
Estimated energy level: 1200 or more (with slit Fine)
Measuring conditions:
The above energy levels are for reference only.
The indicated energy value differs slightly due to the
characteristic of each light source lamp.
5 - 2
lamp needs to be measured. Check is
2
12000 or more (with slit Coarse)
Measuring wavelength: 250 nm
Flow cell: test cell or standard flow cell
filled with water.
