BAUD RATE SELECT REGISTER
Each I/O port has a three-bit Baud Rate Select
Register, which selects the baud rate.
Physically, each bit is in a different IC
(Locations 5F, 5E, and 5D). Logically, the
Baud Rate Select Register is a single register
loaded from the three least significant data
bits of an output instruction from the
processor.
This register selects one of the
eight frequencies to be sent to the
Configuration Header.
To use the 55800 Hz signal, the Configuraton
and Clock Headers can be wired to use the
55800 Hz signal ONLY and not the selectable
rates.
