3.3 Scenario 3: AC Power Input (Backup Power Required)

This describes the installation scenarios of the BTS3900E in the case that AC power is available
on site and backup power is required.

This installation scenario has the following features:

If three BTS3900Es are cascaded, the capacity of the external power input system should
range from 15 A to 20 A.
The BTS3900E DC(1) works as the basic module. It is connected to the two extension
BTS3900Es through the SFP ports to form a star topology.

The power cabinet (APM30 or APM30H) is mandatory. It supplies -48 V DC power and
provides a maximum of 7 U installation space.
