4. Stylus Holder disassembly
Remove the Cool CRT lead wire (white) 2 from the Stylus Holder
1, and remove the holder.

Process the lead wire (white) so
that it does not extend out of the

Engage the Stylus

Pass the white lead through
the groove of the Stylus
Holder.

Pass the red lead through the
LCD Holder rib. (Avoid lifting
and being pinched.)
* Note for assembly
(1) Insert the Cool CRT lead wire (white) into the groove (A) of the
Stylus Holder 5. (Provisional wiring)
(2) Insert the Cool CRT lead wire (red) into the notch of the PWB
(B).
(3) Insert the PWB fixing groove of the Stylus Holder into the PWB,
and attach the Pawls (one in the lower section, two in the upper
section) to the LCD Holder and fix them. (1 First attach the
Lower Pawl.)
(4) Pull the Cool CRT lead wires (red / white) to the connector side
to remove slack.
(5) If there is slack in the lead wire, it cannot be assembled to the
Upper Cabinet. Remove slack completely.
(6) When removing slack in the lead wire, do not hold and pull the
connector. It may cause breakage of the lead wire.
(Special note)
The Inverter Unit generates a high voltage which may generate
heat and smoke if treated improperly.
Therefore, the following notes should be strictly observed.
(1) When processing the lead wire of the Cool CRT, be careful not
to damage the coating cover.
• Never use a sharp cutter for processing of the lead wire.
• Never use the Cool CRT with damaged or broken coating
cover of lead wire.
Attach the Stylus
Holder Projection to
the LCD Holder notch.

5. LCD Unit disassembly
Remove the Tablet Pin 1 from the connector 2. Remove the PWB
from the LCD Unit and reverse it. Remove the LCD Unit FPC 4
from the FPC connector 3.

Attach the pawl.

* Note for assembly
(1) Release locking of the FPC connector 3, and insert the FPC of
the LCD Unit 5 completely to the bottom in parallel.
(2) Lock the FPC connector 3.
(3) Check the connection state.
Reference: Check that the FPC Support Plate can be seen by
1.0mm from the edge of the connector lock.
(4) When locking, use an anti-static-electricity holder to prevent the
PWB from being deflected.
(5) Be careful to prevent breakage of Lock Pawl of the connector.
(6) Bend the FPC of the LCD Unit 5 and cover it over the PWB.
(7) Hang the LCD Holder 6 Pawl on the PWB Unit 2 and fix it.
(8) Pass the Tablet Pin 1 through the slit of the PWB.
(9) Release locking of the connector on the opposite side of the
PWB, and insert the Tablet Pin 1.
(10)Lock the connecter.
(11)Check the connection state.
Reference: Check that the Tablet Pin pattern (silver color) is
hidden by the connecter completely.
(12)Check that the PWB Unit 7 is securely fixed by the LCD Holder
6 Pawl.
(13)The tablet pin 1 cannot be connected after attaching the
Inverter Holder. Be careful to connect securely.
