6. Applying Grease to the Slide Cover Slide section
Apply grease to the upper and lower sides of the sliding section of
the Left and Right Upper Cabinets.
Amount of application: Apply a very small amount of grease to the
sides (0.5mm.k)
Wipe excessive grease with cloth.

7. Assembly of Slide Cover Unit
(1) Clean and remove oil with IPA from the Key PWB, the contact
pins, and the Key PWB Shielding Sheet on the back of the Slide
Cover Unit 1.
(2) Engage one side of the Slide Cover Fixture of the Slide Cover
Unit 1 into the sliding groove of the Upper Cabinet 2.
(3) Extend the arm of the Slide Cover Unit 1 and engage the other
side of the Slide Cover Fixture into the sliding groove.
(4) Hold the sides of the Slide Cover Unit 1 and slide it back and
forth 3 times to apply grease evenly. (Check at the same time
that it slides smoothly.)
(5) Open the Slide Cover Unit 1 fully and check that the contact
spring is not deformed when viewed from the set sides and the
I/O Port.
(6) When assembling, be careful not to scratch the Upper Cabinet

and damage the Upper Cabinet and Fixed Key Panel.
(7) When assembling, be careful not to deform the contact spring.
