AITACHING THE SHOULDER STRAP

Before using the camcorder, make sure that the shoulder strap is fastened securely, and take u p any slack.
To secure the strap, please pull at least 5cm of strap-end through each buckle.
Press PUSH
mark.
Loop one end of the strap through the eyelet on top of the camcorder.
LOADING A CASSETTE
Make sure that a power source is connected.

While sliding the OPEN button in the direction
indicated by the arrow on the camcorder
lift the lid up until it opens

Press EJECT.
The cassette com partment cover wil l automati
cally rise up and open.

I nsert a cassette with its window facing out,
after checking to ensure that there is no slack
in the tape.

Press the "PUSH" mark on the cassette com
partment cover until it clicks . The cassette
compartment will lower and the cover close
automatically. Do not try to force anything by
pushing it down .

After the compartment cover is completely
closed, close the lid.
EJECTING A CASSETTE
Make sure that a power source is connected.

Press EJECT.
The cassette compartment cover will automati
cally rise up and open.

Take out the cassette, and then press the
PUSH mark on the compartment to close it.

After the compartment cover is completely
closed, close the lid. Press the lid down until
both the left and right tabs are locked firmly in
position.
Never try to close the lid while the cassette compartment cover

is up, as this may damage the unit.
Be careful not to get your fingers caught in the cassette com
•
partment.
When loading or unloading the cassette, be sure that the cam
•
corder is level and that the cassette compartment is not facing
downward. as failure to do so may lead to cassette damage.
