Chapter 9—Aux Sends

Muting Aux Sends

ON
1. Use the [AUX] buttons to select an aux send.
An AUX page similar to the one shown below appears.
The MASTER [ON] button now functions as aux send master on/off switch for the
selected aux send.
2. Use the MASTER [ON] button to turn the aux send on or off.
When aux sends are paired ("Pairing Aux Sends" on page 101), their on switches are
linked.
The aux send master switches can be viewed and set on the VIEW pages. See "Viewing
Aux Send Settings" on page 98 for more information.

Applying EQ to Aux Sends

Each aux send features a four-band parametric EQ. See "EQ" on page 61 for more
information. The EQ can be turned on or off, and the EQ curve viewed on the VIEW
page. See "Viewing Aux Send Settings" on page 98 for more information.

Aux Send Dynamics Processors

Each aux send features a dynamics processor. See "Dynamics Processors" on page 161
for more information. The dynamics can be turned on or off, and the dynamics curve
viewed on the VIEW page. See "Viewing Aux Send Settings" on page 98 for more infor-
mation.

Aux send masters can be muted using the MASTER [ON] button, which
lights up when an aux send is on. The function of this button depends on
the selected Fader mode. See "ON Buttons" on page 34 for more informa-
tion.
