If required, the cooling fan installed in the CHS2U-AU chassis can be removed and
replaced. The following provides the procedure for the CHS2U-AU chassis.

Insert tabs on cover into holes on CHS LARGE BATT BOX. Slide
the cover left until seated and tighten the screw. Refer to
4-77 Installing Cover

Do not attempt to replace the power supply. The MPS7101 is not
a field replaceable part. If the power supply fails contact NEC.

Ensure the chassis is powered down.

To reduce the possibility of electrical shock or
damage to equipment, NEC recommends
powering Off the chassis and disconnecting the
AC cable from the power source before
removing the chassis cover.
To reduce the possibility of damage to
equipment, the installer must wear a
grounded wrist strap to protect the
equipment from static electricity.
