Problem
The monitor is NOT communicating with
the Unity MC Network or auxiliary devices.
Revision B
Troubleshooting: General
Cause
The security lever may not be in the far left
position.
The docking station may not be connected
to the network or to the auxiliary devices.
The network or auxiliary devices are
connected to the monitor instead of the
docking station.
The connector is inserted into the wrong
communication port.
Dirt or other objects are obstructing the
connector port.
The Dash 2000 monitor may not have the
expansion PCB required to interface with
the docking station.
The AC power/communication mechanism
has failed.

Solution
Slide the security lever to the far left
position.
Connect the docking station to the network
or to the auxiliary devices.
Disconnect the network or auxiliary devices
from the monitor and connect them to the
docking station.
Reposition the connector into the correct
port.
Remove the obstructions.
Use a Dash 2000 monitor that has the
communication PCB installed.See

station and complete the following tasks.
1. Verify the plunger meets the force
specifications identified on page 2 of the
"Exploded View PN 2004740-001,
Revision D"
