3. Install battery cables for the UPS.
（1）Connect the ground cable of the battery
string or its BBB box to the battery PE of the UPS
or the ground bar in the equipment room as
required.

Installing a PowerPOD (Non-Prefabrication Scenario)
3.1 Cabinet Transportation and Installation
1. Use a pallet truck or rolling steel to transport the cabinet and enclosure frame to the
installation position.
2. Unpack and take out the fitting box. Check whether the cabinet and enclosure frame are intact.
3. Determine the cabinet installation position on the channel steel (or floor) based on the cabinet
mounting holes in the marking-off template.

4. Use a hammer drill to drill holes at the cabinet mounting hole positions on the channel steel (or
mounting hole positions for expansion bolts), and then install expansion tubes at the holes.
5. Secure the cabinet to the channel steel (or floor).
3.2 Cabinet Transportation and Installation
1. Remove the front and rear
door headers from the
enclosure frame.
2. Level the enclosure frame and
secure it.
3. Combine adjacent enclosure
frames.

3.4 Installing Cabinet Copper Bars
1. Remove the top panels from the enclosure frames.
2. Remove the cabinet connecting kits from the top of the UPS.
3. Install copper bars from the input and bus tie cabinet to the input and bypass cabinet.
a) Remove the upper part of the bus clip in the enclosure frame.
b) Mount three current transformers onto the copper bars for phases L1 (No. 119), L2 (No.
118), and L3 (No. 117), and secure them.
c) Install copper bars for phases L3 (No. 119), L2 (No. 118), L1 (No. 117), and N (No. 120).
Each time you install a phase copper bar, tighten the screws on the copper bar and use a torque
wrench to check and mark it based on the standard torque. Then install the other row of copper
bars.

d) Install the upper part of the bus clip.
4. Install copper bars from the input and bypass cabinet to the UPS.
a) Remove the upper part of the bus clip in the enclosure frame.
b) Install copper bars for phases L3 (No. 45 and 46), L2 (No. 43 and 44), and L1 (No. 41
and 42), and connect mains input copper bars from the input and bypass cabinet to
the UPS.
c) Install copper bars for phases L3 (No. 54 and 55), L2 (No. 52 and 53), and L1 (No. 50
and 51), and connect bypass input copper bars from the input and bypass cabinet to
the UPS.
d) Install the upper part of the bus clip.
