Removing Mounting Ears from the Base and Protective Parts

1. Cut open the protective covers using a utility knife and remove the protective covers.

2. Remove mounting ears from the base and protective parts.

Grounding a PowerPOD

Connect the ground cables to the ground points of the PowerPOD using M8/M6 stainless steel bolt

assemblies. Route the ground cables through plastic-coated metal hoses based on site

requirements.

Installing Devices Inside a PowerPOD

1. Move power modules to the reserved positions in the UPS. Rotate the ready switches to the

locked state. Secure the power modules.

2. Move an SVG module to the reserved position in the SVG cabinet. Install and secure the SVG

module.

Installing a PAD

1. Adjust the width and height of the PAD support to match the dimensions of the PAD to be

installed.

2. Remove the nut from the PAD mounting support, mount the support onto the mounting hole in

the front door of the cabinet, and then secure the support to the mounting hole using the nut.

3. Route the PAD power cable to the cable hole in the PAD mounting support and connect the

cable to the PAD.

4. Adjust the feet on the top of the PAD mounting support and clamp the PAD to the PAD

mounting support.

5. Connect the cable from the USB port on the ECC800-Pro to the charging port on the PAD.

Installing Cables

1. Connect input power cables to the transformer and the dense busway of the bus tie

cabinet.

2. Remove the top cover and the rear panel from the feeder cabinet as required. Connect

output power cables.
