2-2. Setting the Length Measurement Parameters

Use the "Non-Contact Displacement Sensor Software" to set the length measurement parameters.
For details, see the User's Manual of Non-Contact Displacement Sensor Software.

2-2-1. Setting the pulse resolution

The main unit outputs AB phase pulse signals as the length measurement information.
The resolution of AB phase pulse can be set.
The allowable range is from 1 to 1,000 um.
The default is set to 10 um, outputting 1 pulse every 10 um.

2-2-2. Setting the trigger

If the main unit is given a trigger to start measuring the length, the length starts to be measured.
After the measurement starts, the light beam for length measurement turns on.
The pattern of the length measurement start trigger can be set.

2-2-3. Setting the user correction coefficient

The length measurement value of the main unit can be corrected.
Setting the correction coefficient allows you to measure the length always with the length measurement value of the
main unit multiplied by the correction coefficient.
The allowable range of the correction coefficient is from 0.9000 to 1.1000.
