DVB-C (Cable) Options

Definition
Description
Cable
Use the up and down arrow buttons to set the cable
Frequency
frequency (0000.0000 to 9999.9999 MHz).
The default is 0312.0000 MHz.
Transport
Use the up and down arrow buttons to set the desired
Symbol Rate
transport symbol rate (000.0000 to 999.9999 Msps).
The default is 056.3200 Msps.
Forward
Use the up and down arrow buttons to specify FEC rate:
Error
1/2, 2/3, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8, or None (Not Identified).
Correction
The default is 3/4.
Reed
Use the up and down arrow buttons to choose one of two
Solomon
options: None or RS(204/188). None means Not Identified.
Error
The default is RS(204/188).
Correction
Modulation
Use the up and down arrow buttons to choose:
Type
16-QAM, 32-QAM, 64-QAM, 128-QAM, or 256-QAM.
The default is 64-QAM.

DVB-T (Terrestrial) Options

Definition
Description
Center
Use the up and down arrow buttons to set the terrestial
Frequency
broadcast frequency (00,000,000,000 to 42,899,999,980
Hz). The default is 00,600,000,000 Hz.
Bandwidth
Use the up and down arrow buttons to specify the
broadcast system's bandwidth (6, 7, or 8 MHz). The
default is 8 MHz.
Modulation
Use the up and down arrow buttons to set the desired
Constellation
modulation mode: QPSK, 16QAM, or 64QAM. The default
is QPSK.
Guard
Use the up and down arrow buttons to specify the

broadcast system's guard interval: 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, or 1/32.
The default is 1/16.
Transmission
Use the up and down arrow buttons to specify carriers per
Mode
Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM)
frame: 2k or 8k. The default is 2k.
Code Rate
Use the up and down arrow buttons to specify the For-
High Power
ward Error Correction (FEC) rate (1/2, 2/3, 3/4, 5/6, or
7/8) used for the high power modulation. The default is 1/2.
Code Rate
Use the up and down arrow buttons to specify the FEC
Low Power
rate (1/2, 2/3, 3/4, 5/6, or 7/8) used for the low power
modulation. The default is 1/2.
Hierarchy
Use the up and down arrow buttons to specify the
broadcast system's hierarchial indication: Alpha(1),
Alpha(2), Alpha(4), or Non-hier. If the broadcast system is
not hierarchial, select Non-hier. The default is Non-hier.
Other
Use the up and down arrow buttons to specify (YES or

NO) if the broadcast system has other frequencies that
are in use. The default is NO.
