Inspecting the Verticutter

Parts needed for this procedure:
1 Verticutter
Procedure
1. Check each end of the reel for grease. Grease
should be visibly evident in the internal splines
of the reel shaft.
2. Ensure that all nuts and bolts are securely
tightened.

Installing the Transport
Rollers
Parts needed for this procedure:
2 Transport roller assembly
2 Cotter pin
Procedure
Secure a transport roller bracket to each side plate pin
with a cotter pin

Use
Inspect the verticutter.
Install the transport rollers.
Install the O-ring and the grease fitting.
Adjust the blade depth.
Adjust the rear grass shield.
Adjust the roller scrapers.
Adjust the transport rollers.
Mount the verticutter reel.
Use
