Description
• Up to twenty-four 2.5-inch hot-swap SAS/SATA/NVMe drives (NVMe drives are
supported in drive bays 4–7, bays 12–15, and bays 20–23)
• Up to twenty-four 2.5-inch NVMe drives (NVMe drives are supported in drive bays
0–23)
• Up to two 3.5-inch hot-swap SAS/SATA drives in the rear
• Up to two M.2 drives
Notes:
• NVMe drives means Non-Volatile Memory express drives.
• If the operating temperature is equal to or less than 30°C, the server models
installed with Xeon 6137, 6154, 6242R, 6246R, 6248R, 6250, 6256, 6258R, 8168,
8180, and 8180M processor support no more than eight NVMe drives.
• For server models with sixteen/twenty/twenty-four NVMe drives:
– The maximum power for installed PCIe card is 25 watts.
– The SSD add-in-card (AID) is not supported.
– The minimum power supplies should be 1100 watts.
• For server models with sixteen/twenty/twenty-four NVMe drives, the maximum
memory module is 128 GB, and DCPMM is not supported.
• One PCIe slot on the system board
• One RAID adapter slot on the system board
• Two riser card slots on the system board
• Two or three PCIe slots on the riser card

• Front panel:
– One VGA connector (available on some models)
– One XClarity Controller USB connector
– One USB 3.0 connector
• Rear panel:
– One VGA connector
– One XClarity Controller network connector
– One serial port (available on some models)
– Two USB 3.0 connectors
– Two or four Ethernet connectors on the LOM adapter (available on some
models)
