Notes:
• Intel Xeon 6137, 6242R, 6246R, 6248R, 6250, 6256, or 6258R processor is
supported only when the following requirements are met:
– The server chassis is the twenty-four 2.5-inch-bay chassis.
– The operating temperature is equal to or less than 30°C.
– Up to eight drives are installed in the drive bays 8–15.
• Intel Xeon 6144, 6146, 8160T, 6126T, 6244, and 6240Y processor, or processors
with TDP equal to 200 watts or 205 watts (excluding 6137, 6242R, 6246R, 6248R,
6250, 6256, or 6258R) are supported only when the following requirements are
met:
– The server chassis is the twenty-four 2.5-inch-bay chassis.
– Up to eight drives are installed in the drive bays 8–15 if the operating
temperature is equal to or less than 35°C, or up to sixteen drives are installed in
the drive bays 0–15 if the operating temperature is equal to or less than 30°C.
• For server models with sixteen/twenty/twenty-four NVMe drives, two processors
are needed, and the maximum supported processor TDP is 165 watts.
• For server models with twenty-four 2.5-inch and twelve 3.5-inch-drive bays, if Intel
Xeon 6144 and 6146 processors installed, the operating temperature is equal to or
less than 27°C.
• Intel Xeon 6154, 8168, 8180, and 8180M processors support the following server
models: eight 3.5-inch-drive bays, eight 2.5-inch-drive bays, or sixteen 2.5- inch-
drive bays. For server models with sixteen 2.5-inch and eight 3.5-inch drive bays,
the operating temperature is equal to or less than 30°C.
• Intel Xeon 6246, 6230T, and 6252N processors support the following server
models: eight 3.5-inch-drive bays, eight 2.5-inch-drive bays, or sixteen 2.5- inch-
drive bays.
• If two TruDDR4 2933, 128 GB 3DS RDIMMs are installed in one channel, the
operating temperature is equal to or less than 30°C.
For 1st Generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processor (Intel Xeon SP Gen 1):
• Slots: 24 memory module slots
• Minimum: 8 GB
• Maximum:
– 768 GB using registered DIMMs (RDIMMs)
– 1.5 TB using load-reduced DIMMs (LRDIMMs)
– 3 TB using three-dimensional stack registered DIMMs (3DS RDIMMs)
• Type (depending on the model):
– TruDDR4 2666, single-rank or dual-rank, 8 GB/16 GB/32 GB RDIMM
– TruDDR4 2666, quad-rank, 64 GB LRDIMM
– TruDDR4 2666, octa-rank, 128 GB 3DS RDIMM
For 2nd Generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processor (Intel Xeon SP Gen 2):
• Slots: 24 DIMM slots
• Minimum: 8 GB
