Use this section to understand the cable routing for server models with eight 3.5-inch SAS/SATA drives.
Server model: eight 3.5-inch SAS/SATA drives, the rear hot-swap drive assembly, two 8i RAID
adapters
Note: The cable routing illustration is based on the scenario that the rear hot-swap drive assembly is
installed. Depending on the model, the rear hot-swap drive assembly and the 8i RAID adapter in PCIe slot 4
might not be available on your server.
