Please follow these simple steps to match the setting to where you live.

1. Depending on your location and whether or not DST (Daylight Savings Time) is in effect, set the

of the unit to '+1hr' or '-1hr' to make the DST adjustment (advance or regress the time one hour).

2. Press and hold the S Zone button located on the back of the unit for approx. 2 seconds until the unit shows current time zone.

Press category up or down to select the time zone.

3. Press the 7 Enter button to exit the setting mode. You should hear 2 beeps indicating the time zone has been set. If no button is

pressed for 10 sec., in Zone set mode, changed settings are set and unit exits mode, accompanied by 2 beeps.

Setting Clock Time and Calendar

Note: If you have an active subscription to XM Satellite Radio, you can skip this section. Instead, please see directions on page 8 regarding

the XM TIME SYNCH function.

1. Press and hold the T Clock Adj button located on the back of the unit for 2 seconds.

2. The year display at the lower right will flash. Press the 7 Enter button to accept the current setting, or press Category up and down

until the current year is displayed. Press the 7 Enter button to confirm year setting. You should hear 1 beep indicating the year is

set and the date display at the lower right will flash. Press the 7 Enter button to accept the current setting, or press Category up

and down until current date is displayed. Press the 7 Enter button to confirm date setting. You should hear 1 beep indicating the

date is set and the time will flash. Press Category up and down, or hold Category up and down button for faster display until the

current time is showing. Press the 7 Enter button to confirm clock setting. You should hear 2 beeps indicating the clock time is

set and will exit Clock and Calendar setting mode.

If no button is pressed for 10 seconds at any point during CLOCK ADJ, the changed settings are set and the unit exits adjust mode,

accompanied by 2 beeps.

Clock settings (year/month/date/hr/min) can be sychronized (set) via satellite once XM sevice is activated (see page 9 for information on

activating XM service). To confirm synchronization of your TMX1:

1. Press the 3 Menu button.

2. Use the 9 Rotary knob to select >TIME SYNC<.

3. Press the 7 Enter button.

4. If a previous synchronization was successful, the display will show >SYNCHRONIZED<. If not, then >NOT SYNCED< is displayed.

Although the clock is automaticllay synchronized while listening to XM radio, if you wish to make the unit synchronize, select >ON<

from the TIME SYNCH menu and press the 7 Enter button. The display should change to read 'Updating'. The current time will

then appear when the display returns to the default state.
