Problem
A few water droplets
come out when
the water tank is
detached.
There is no scent
or the scent on my
clothes is too weak.
The fragrance cap
does not absorb
fragrance any more.
Possible cause
This is part of the water
inlet design.
You are steaming with
setting (GC537).
You are using fragrance
with low concentration
of aroma compounds,
such as Eau de Parfum,
Parfum de Toilette and
Eau de Cologne.
There is not enough
fragrance left in the
fragrance cap.
The fragrance cap has
reached its end of life
(approximately 2 years
depending on frequency
of usage).
Solution
This is normal.
Use
setting.
Use fragrance with high
concentration of aroma
compounds such as essential oil
and perfume extract (parfum
extrait). Refer to
section.
Refill the fragrance cap.
Purchase a new MyEssence fragrance
cap from a Philips Authorized
Service Center or Philips online
shop at www.shop.philips.com if
it is available in your country. For
further assistance, please contact
